Glasson Dock to the Crook O'Lune

Join us for a leisurely ride along the Lune cycleway up as far as the Crook o'Lune. The 'crook' is a kink in the river Lune which has 2 bridges over the river and a stunning view towards Ingleborough, one of the 3 peaks of the classic Yorkshire Dales hike.

On the way back we call into the wonderful Lancaster Castle and the excellent cafe run by renowned, local coffee merchants, Atkinsons.

Distance 30km.

No special equipment needed though flat shoes/trainers are more suited to cycling. Please bring clothing suitable to the day's weather, a drink and a snack bar. We will be stopping at 2 cafes but always good idea to have something with you .

Conder Green to Morecambe Midland

Come along and enjoy a mostly traffic-free ride out to the old village of Heysham before a lovely ride along the seafront to the art deco Midland Hotel for tea & cake. The trip then takes us back into the centre of Lancaster along the cycleway and across the iconic Millennium Bridge.

Distance 25km.

No special equipment needed though flat shoes/trainers are more suited to cycling. Please bring clothing suitable to the day's weather, a drink and a snack bar. We will be stopping at the Midland for tea & cake with fantastic seaside view, but always good idea to have something with you

Out to Sunderland Point & Heysham Village

Sunderland Point, is a small village among the marshes, on a peninsula between the mouth of the River Lune and Morecambe Bay. On quiet roads the route takes in the old part of Heysham Village before a wonderful seaside ride along to Morecambe.

Distance 35km.
